Platinum Top 50 is excited to be kicking off the first part of its annual award program by recognizing the Top 500 Realtors in Austin next week. Before we make the big announcement, we wanted to take some time to explain what our Top 500 Recognition Program is and the value it can bring to those residential real estate agents that land on the list.
For consideration to the Top 500 list, agents are nominated by their brokerages who submit sales production closed from September 1, 2020 - February 28, 2021. This yearly Top 500 recognition is solely based on sales production from the first six months of the PT50 award year, positioning the agents to qualify for Platinum Top 50 Recognition during our annual awards ceremony.
We encourage all agents to learn how to get involved in Platinum Top 50, the Most Connected Real Estate Network. We provide a wide variety of opportunities throughout the year to expand your knowledge through our online and in-person educational events. As well as connect with like-minded individuals with the same goals of representing and serving our community well.
If you are an agent recognized on our Top 500 list, we highly encourage you to apply for Platinum Top 50 Recognition when applications open on August 1. This time, agents can self-nominate using our application portal during the submission period of August 1 - 31. At no cost to the agent, Platinum Top 50 annually recognizes residential real estate agents for their professional accomplishments, community contributions, and industry leadership. Scoring for Platinum Top 50 Recognitions consists of 60% Sales Volume + Units Closed, 25% Community Involvement, 7.5% Industry Involvement, and 7.5% Industry Designations. Once submissions are closed, applications are scored and ranked automatically by our third-party application management software based on the agent's responses to each category. Our Semifinalist announcement is made in the Fall, followed by our winner's announcement at our annual awards ceremony in December.
