The Art of Designing Your New Tri Pointe Home

Today, homebuyers want to be in control of more than just where their furniture is placed. As of late, sites like Houzz and Pinterest have shown homeowners the endless possibilities for their spaces and inspired them to take a lead role in their home’s design.

When Sabrina Flores and her family began looking for a new home, she knew she wanted to be able to create a space that reflected her personality. From the countertops and flooring, down to the color of the grout tile, seeing her design vision come to life was a top priority.

Once she visited Tri Pointe’s Design Studio, she knew she’d come to the right place. “I was in heaven”, Sabrina said. “The sparkling countertops, the flooring, the fixtures – everything was right there at my fingertips to choose from.”

Some of Sabrina’s favorite design choices in her home were the dramatic grey quartz countertop in the kitchen and the decaled glass doors for the pantry and laundry – which is now a suggestion for future homebuyers in the Design Studio.

By the end of Sabrina’s design sessions, she had hand-selected almost every feature in her home, big and small. “From choosing subway-style tile in the bathroom, to picking the specific shade of grout color, I was able to bring all the ideas I’ve kept in my head to life, and that’s something special,” Sabrina said.

As first-time homeowners, the Flores’ also valued the support they received from Tri Pointe along the way. “No other builder offers the same level of thoughtfulness at every step,” Sabrina says. “When we first walked into the Design Studio we were greeted by our names on the front door, and when it finally came time to move in, a custom housewarming gift from the design team was in our home waiting for us.”

Coming up on six months in their new home in Monroe, Sabrina, her husband Alex, and son Logan are ecstatic. “Working with Tri Pointe was truly magic, everything I could ever want is in this house.” Sabrina says. “Once we moved in, I was so happy I literally hugged the kitchen countertop.”
